Pawsitive Match is a rescue and adoption organization that operates in the Calgary area, in Alberta, Canada. We rescue many dogs from the Cabo San Lucas Humane Society, in Mexico, and many other dogs from different parts of North America. We are 100% non-profit, and we rely on the hard work of our dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to end the needless suffering of homeless dogs and help find them loving family to be a part of.

This Week's Featured Rescue Dog: Tia
Hey there! My name's Tia and I'm in Calgary looking for my forever home! I'm a gorgeous girl with a great temperament to match! I'm originally from Idaho, but I'm having a great time enjoying life as a proud new Canadian. My favorite thing to do is run around and play with all the other dogs here at my foster home (and, of course, my foster mom!) and then curl up on the couch and warm up. I have a great recall and I love to be as close to my foster mom as possible--I'm just a little love bug! Someone docked my tail when I was little, so I have a little nub of a tail
that makes my whole body shake when I wag my tail! I can't wait to find my forever family... I sure hope they like to play and snuggle!
A Note From Tia's Foster Mom: "Tia is a beautiful, dainty girl. Being treated well by humans is new to her, as she spent the first part of her life tied to a stake year-round.
Tia will flourish in a gentle, patient, loving home. She has made great progress already. She is shy and appears to expect to be scolded, but exhibits moments of shear joy when she runs in the fields with the other dogs. She is extremely quick and very agile and has nice recall. Tia is quiet and well behaved indoors and loves to curl up on her bed. She also gets along well with cats. She is a very special dog that we just cannot say enough about."

Since June of 2006, Pumkin’s Promise has financed spaying and neutering, vaccinations and heartworm testing, and has provided financial help for life-saving treatments for diseases such as parovirus.
