Fostering

Fostering is a rewarding experience that helps needy animals by allowing them to live in a home, with a family, while we work on matching them with the right family. Fostering is the alternative to keeping them in an isolated caged environment where they can potentially develop more issues as a result.

Pawsitive Match Rescue does not have a shelter and relies upon its foster family volunteers to:

Provide love and care for the animals in preparation for thier adoption,
Evaluate the dogs and assist with matching them with a family during the adoption process,
Arrange meetings with the dog and the potential adoptive family,
Transport dogs to vet clinics for necessary health care

Fostering a dog is a big commitment of your time and resources. You must be certain that any pets you own will accept and get along wtih foster dogs. You must also ensure your pets are up-to-date on their vaccinations prior to taking in foster dogs.
