About Duchess

Hey there, future friend! I’m Duchess, the 62-pound dynamo with a lab mix of charm and a touch of goofiness. So, you wanna know about me? Well, buckle up, because life with me is like a sitcom with a furry protagonist.

I’m the socialite of the dog world. Kids? Teenagers? Adults? Bring ‘em on! I’m like the Oprah of canine affection – you get love, you get love, everybody gets love! But, fair warning, I haven’t met tiny humans under 12, so they’re still a mystery to me. Teenagers, though? We’re like BFFs. We play, we laugh, we share secrets (well, I pretend to listen).

Now, when it comes to other dogs, I’m the canine party animal. I see a furry friend, and I’m like, “Let’s dance!” Sure, I might get a tad too excited and play a bit rough, but hey, who doesn’t love a good wrestling match? Just remind me to tone it down – I’m still learning the art of doggy diplomacy.

Living with a parrot has its perks. I’m cool with birds, hawks, horses, cows, and deer. I’m basically the Dr. Doolittle of the neighborhood, minus the talking part. And baths? Well, let’s just say I’m on the fence about them. Slow and gentle might do the trick, or maybe I’ll just perfect my “avoid the tub” dance.

Leash walks are my jam. No pulling, no drama – just a casual stroll, and I’m the picture of grace. I’ve got a repertoire of tricks like sit, stay, and jump on the sofa (yes, that’s a trick – don’t judge). I’m a bit of a comedian, always up for a game of fetch or a joyride in the car.

Duchess was born in approximately December 2020 and weighs about 50 pounds.  Her adoption fee is $475
