Pawsitive Match is a rescue and adoption organization that operates in the Calgary area, in Alberta, Canada. We rescue many dogs from the Cabo San Lucas Humane Society, in Mexico, and many other dogs from different parts of North America. We are 100% non-profit, and we rely on the hard work of our dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to end the needless suffering of homeless dogs and help find them loving family to be a part of.

I'm a 2-year-old Black Lab x who was rescued from a kill shelter in Montana with my friend Gertie. We are both very sweet and very submissive to people. We are good with kids, cats and dogs (big and small!). We are extremely scared of people and just need to learn to trust again. The people that have met us think we will come around beautifully with TLC.Are you looking for a sweet girl like me to love?

We are good with kids, cats and dogs (big and small!). We are extremely scared of people and just need to learn to trust again. Hi there! I am about 35 pounds and am approximately 6 months old. I was found as a stray and look to have been hit by a car because my jaw is a little crooked and I have a bit of a limp. I am very sweet and I am great with other dogs! I also have no issues with cats.

I'm in Calgary looking for my forever home!
I'm named after the month that I came to the shelter. Actually, I didn't exactly "come" to the shelter; I was thrown out of a truck with my puppies. None of my puppies made it, but I must have had some of the luck of the Irish on my side because with some TLC I'm now ready to find my forever home! I'm a happy, playful girl and my spirit has not been broken at all. I love to play with other dogs, but I would prefer a home without kitties. I am house trained and am doing great on my loose leash training. I am the sweetest girl and the volunteers at the first Pawsitive Match event, were sad to say good bye to me when I left to go to my foster home. I was one of 5 dogs (Tex, Sadie, Cody and Terri were the others) at the Pawsitive Match event, everyone was amazed at how sweet I was after all that people have done to me. I would probably not be a good fit for a family with young kids due to my strength, but older kids (12+) who know how to handle dogs would be fine! I've got the Pit Bull strength, sweetness and gorgeous looks, but no one can figure out what else I have in me!
