Dani was named in memory of Danielle Dececco, an inspiring member of the animal community who ran a dog agility business and brought joy to everyone around her. Despite lifelong health challenges, she lived with remarkable resilience, humor, and a deep love for animals. Naming this dog Dani is a small way to honour her legacy and keep her spirit alive.
Meet Dani
A brave and resilient pup with a heart as big as her wagging tail. After suffering a traumatic injury—after being hit by a car on 2 separate occasions—Dani was left with severe road rash and a badly damaged leg. Despite her strength and determination, infection has set in, and the safest path forward is amputation.
Her surgery is scheduled for Monday, May 4, and this life-saving procedure will give Dani the chance to live pain-free and thrive as a sweet and happy tripod.
Dani has already shown incredible courage, adapting to life on three legs with spirit and resilience. Now she needs our help to take the next step toward healing.
We are looking to raise $4,000 which will cover the costs of her surgery and recovery, helping her trade pain for playtime and giving her the fresh start she deserves. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference in Dani’s journey.

Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation is a registered non-profit charitable organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, and to promoting responsible pet ownership through community education. We are planning to raise an estimated amount of $100,000 this year through fundraising campaigns. 100% of proceeds received are used to support the organization’s charitable purposes, including animal care, veterinary treatment, foster and adoption programs, and related community initiatives.
