Tulip & Friends
On Friday, May 8, Pawsitive Match took in 16 cats from a sad situation. Our friends at Canadian Animal Task Force (CATF) rescued roughly 40 cats from one home that we can only describe as extremely unsuitable for any human or animal to live in.
Of the 16 cats we took in, 3 were pregnant and gave birth on Sunday, May 10 - Mother's Day! Bringing those 16 cats up to a total of 23 rescued! One mom even required a c-section to deliver a very chubby baby!
Most of these cats are in rough shape and we are grateful they were rescued before it was too late. They received immediate vet care thanks to CATF including first vaccines, dewormer and intake exams.
However, it is very clear this is just the start of the medical journey. Many of them are going to require dental care and who knows what else is going to come up on their recovery to good health.
What we do know is they are in a warm, clean, safe space to decompress and will only know love and food security for the rest of their lives.

Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation is a registered non-profit charitable organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, and to promoting responsible pet ownership through community education. We are planning to raise an estimated amount of $100,000 this year through fundraising campaigns. 100% of proceeds received are used to support the organization’s charitable purposes, including animal care, veterinary treatment, foster and adoption programs, and related community initiatives.
