Welling is, quite simply, wonderful. Sweet and social, he thrives on the company of his foster parents, loves being held, petted and snuggled, and especially loves having his chin rubbed. Cheerfully chatty, he follows them around like a faithful kitty shadow and joins them in bed at night for even more scratches and pets. He also loves catnip toys, treats and scratching posts, looking at birds from the cat tree and engaging with his feline foster friend, Morty. Highly food motivated at work on his kitty manners, Welling, who is also FIV+, will do best in a home with another FIV+ cat, one that understands about FIV and has an easygoing cat, or one where he’s the sole recipient of their fur-ever love.
