Hello, my name is Buddy!

As my name suggests, I can be your best bud if you have a little patience. You see, I am a shy boy. I am not very fond of children or other animals. It's hard for me to trust easily and many things scare me. What can I say - I wasn't dealt the best cards in life.

But don't worry, I am working on coming out of my shell. I do pretty well in controlled environments where things are more or less predictable. I am house- and crate-trained, so we'll need to work on leash training and recall. I am also getting used to touch and can handle it well with people that I trust. Overall, I am showing a willingness to try new things, even though they are scary.

A perfect home for me is a calm household. I am not a high-energy dog, so you and I can have a pretty chill life. The only thing I need is your love and patience, and I will do my best to become your best bud.

Buddy was born approximately November 2023 and is a large dog.
