Hi, I'm Mona!

I'm a sweet, affectionate girl with an adventurous spirit. If you're looking for a dog who loves exploring the outdoors just as much as curling up beside you after a fun day, we might be the perfect match.

I'm athletic and love opportunities to run, play, and explore. Hiking, trail adventures, off-leash play, sniffing walks, and enrichment games are some of my favourite activities. I'm smart, food motivated, and eager to please. I'd love a family that enjoys continuing my training or even trying fun activities like agility or scent work.

Like many young dogs, I will thrive with a balance of adventure, enrichment, calm routines and patient guidance as I continue learning how to settle after exciting experiences. Because I'm a sensitive girl, I respond best to positive reinforcement and confidence-building rather than force or harsh corrections.

I'm also a wonderful housemate! I'm housetrained, rarely bark, and am comfortable being left home alone. After I've had a chance to exercise, explore, and use my brain, I'm happy relaxing around the house.

I enjoy the company of other friendly dogs and, after a short introduction, love to play. While I'd be happy as the only dog in an active home, I could also do well with a confident, playful resident dog who enjoys interaction and can model calm behaviour.

I'm still building confidence in new places and around some things in the world. Busy environments and young children can be overwhelming for me, so I'm looking for a home without young children where I can continue growing at my own pace with people who understand that confidence develops through patience and positive experiences.
