I’m a happy, energetic girl with a big heart and a bigger personality. I love my humans and form bonds quickly — so quickly, in fact, that I surprised my foster family by curling up for cuddles just minutes after getting in the car. Once I’m comfortable, I’m affectionate, goofy, and full of joy.

I’m great with kids and thrive in the gentle chaos of family life. I can be a little jumpy and mouthy when I’m excited (it’s my puppy side showing!), but I’m gentle and improving every day. My “jumping” has turned into what looks suspiciously like trying to hug people, and my nipping is already much softer and less frequent. I respond well to guidance, especially when everyone in the house is consistent.

I love other dogs and really enjoy playful, puppy-style interactions, especially with dogs my size or bigger. I’d likely do great with another high-energy dog who wants to play, wrestle, and keep me company.

I’m smart — like really smart. I solved my puzzle feeder in no time, have excellent recall (I answer best to “HERE”), and I’m learning to be polite on leash very quickly. I’m housetrained, crate trained, and sleep peacefully in my crate at night (with my comfy bed, in the bedroom). During the day, I’ll happily go into my crate when needed — especially if I have a stuffed Kong, chew toys, and water.

I do best when my routine is clear. If I’m crated right before my people leave, I settle nicely once alone. If I’m left too early, I might protest with a bit of whining — I just don’t want to miss out! I’m also inquisitive and a little mischievous when bored, so mental and physical stimulation are key for me.

My energy level is high, but I can mellow. I need more than just walks — tug-of-war, fetch, zoomies, training games, and brain work are my jam. Nose work or trick training would be amazing for me. After a good day of activity, I’m perfectly happy napping on the couch like a civilized lady.

A few quirks: I’m not a fan of brooms, mops, or vacuums (I just politely leave the room), I love chewing cardboard if I can get away with it, and I’m still learning that not everything is mine to investigate. I prefer dry food and didn’t love canned fish, but table scraps in moderation? No complaints.

My ideal home would be an active, engaged family with at least one dog-savvy person who’s excited to keep training with me. Kids are a bonus, another energetic dog would be amazing, and someone home most of the time would help me thrive. A big yard would be lovely, but what I really need is stimulation, structure, and love.
