Pinky is extremely intelligent and eager to please. In foster care, she learned commands like sit, stay, and even spin in just days! She thrives on mental stimulation, enrichment activities, and interactive play, making her the perfect companion for an active family who enjoys training, outdoor adventures, and keeping busy.

While Pinky can be a little shy in new situations at first, she warms up quickly with patience and encouragement. Once she feels comfortable, her goofy and affectionate personality shines through. She loves people, enjoys cuddles, and quickly decides everyone is her new best friend. She’s also crate trained, doing very well with housetraining, and walks nicely on leash.

Like many young, high-energy dogs, Pinky is still working on some puppy behaviours, especially she gets overly excited. Her foster family has already made wonderful progress through training and redirection, and Pinky is learning quickly every day. She also loves toys, enrichment games, and occasionally carrying around shoes or socks when she’s excited to see you.

Pinky would do best in an active home with plenty of exercise, playtime, and ongoing training. A secure yard where she can run and play fetch would make her very happy. She’d also benefit from a family who can continue building her confidence and helping her explore the world at her own pace.
